It's a tough question to answer as theres lots of different opinions. It also depends on what your using, i think it's best not to worm unless you have a problem but saying that i worm my snakes about once every year or so just to be safe.
If your feeding thawed rodents it's alot less likely your snakes wil have a worm problem.
I think worming every 6 months is going a bit overboard, doing it that often it's hard to say what effects it could have on the snake. I have seen snakes that have been over wormed and it ain't pretty. Snakes always have wroms and live happily with them and it's only when they have an outbreak that it's causes problems.
Thats where this Worm-Rid could be a real benefit it's been developed for snakes has also be developed in Aus. Alot of the other womers are made for cattle and other animals.

The easiest way to tell if your snake has a worm problem is if they have runny stools or obvious worms in the stools.
