My fav female beardie spent a night in the garage with my 2 cats after getting out of her enclosure (still dont' know how she managed to move 6ply glass). She got cold during the night and mustn't have moved and found her after ripping room apart and ringing everyone (sorry chris w, shane, darin etc etc) telling them that she had been stolen and it was obvious that they only wanted her, bypassing all my olives, macs etc. Still cop ribbing about it 3 years later.
Anyway, night time is probably the best time to look as they get cold and settle in for a sleep, unless your house is pretty warm they might not be making midnight jaunts, unlike snakes that are nocturnal, so flour may not be as usefull as it is when trying to find pythons.
