Glad the problem is resolved.
It reminds me that I had a swelling scare too once, but I think it was shed realated, not food related. My Mac had what looked like a 'puffy' upper jaw. I checked her mouth, and although there weren't the usual signs I suspected maybe mouth rot. I took photos, raised the cage temps, applied antiseptic and made the first available vet appointment I could. Then in the interim I emailed photos to the vet, and breeder and held my breath. Turns out there was no mouth rot and the puffiness or swelling went away after her shed. She has done it on a few sheds since, but always returns to normal. Just out of interest has anyone else experienced this? The vet said he had seen it before in Childreni.
