I have wooden enclosures, where the vents go there is a hole cut into the enclosure, then two plastic vents are fitted, one inside and one outside of the same hole. I have round vents in the bottom of the enclosure and rectangular one up top. The circular vents have one flat side and one with flanges. The flat sides face out so if the snake pushes against them, the vents just get pushed further into place. The larger rectangular vents are screwed in as an added precation. The vents are all made of plastic and were purchased from bunnings.
