Quackenbush Swiss (QS)

Genotype: Outbred albino

brc Origin: Sourced from Department of Veterinary Physiology at the University of Sydney in 1996. Original selection from Swiss mice colonies which demonstrated high fecundity

Strain data: Extremely robust mouse that is larger than the average Swiss mouse.
Litter size of 14+ is common. Used for reproductive physiology and anatomy
