There is no way on earth you can quarentee against theft. If someone wants you collection bad enough, they will get it. You just have to make it as hard as you can to ensure that the theft will not be easy.

As for microchips, what a waste of time. These are easily removed. A friend of mine was robbed last year. Several of the stolen snakes were chiped, but unless you find the theif, they are useless.

On another note, how on earth did you get that many BHP,s that quickly in WA. I would have thought with the new licencing system only starting last year, that there would not have been that many available to the keepers yet
