you just have to keep the size relative phantom, a 7ft coastal is capable of taking a large prey item, and if you ask the butcher i am sure that he can arrange some smaller rabbits for you (food industry size is usally from 1.2-2.2 kg).

I did some asking around though and the general thought on the subject is that a whole rabbit (ie. offle and all) is better nutritionally for a snake then a prepared rabbit
