Hi all,

The La Perouse Snake Show has been running for almost 100 years at the end of the La Perouse Loop (opposite the bus stop). The late George Cann Sr was followed by his sons; George Cann Jr (who sadly died a few years ago) and 1956 Olympic athlete John Cann.

John Cann (of turtle fame) still runs the snake show from 1pm to 5pm each Sunday afternoon, and I thoroughly recommend that newbies get down to see the show (it's free, although John passes the hat around after each 30 minute talk). You'll learn more in an hour listening to John than you will in a year hanging around internet forums.

Cheers

Dave
