slatey i bred a female olive last [unintentionally]who was under 4kg and 3years old.14 good eggs,so have a bit more faith, you never know.if you have access to another male olive this will most certainly increase your chances,a bit of combat or just swap the males around when the time comes.the smell of another male is enough to get my males going.
i have bhp's going at it at the moment spotties and jungles go together mid july.
i do nothing with temps or lights, just turn em off when it starts to cool and watch for the first male movement after wintering and turn em back on,they wake up when they are ready.soon as they do in the males go regardless of whether the females are moving or not.it's easy to do it up in the far north with fairly constant temps.i don't envy you guys down south, alot more work and knowledge needed by you guys to be successful.
