He would not have seen the relection in the camera lens. Snakes eyes do not focus on objects like ours. They only really see movement. I would say it was you and the camera moving that he reacted too.
Due to their poor eyesight, the mirror idea just would not work. If you want a male to react just put the shed of another male in the cage with him. |
