yep, you don't need a license to own a scorp, but people collecting them for commercial reasons now need a license to do so.

The apparent attraction with our scorps, is putting them under some sort of light, and they glow (?), so I've heard anyway. I love the tarantulas, and I personally don't have an interest in the scorps, but many have been subjected to wild collection for pet stores, like the tarantulas (bird-eating spiders), which is cruel. The are relatively easy to breed and grow fast, more so than spiders, so I'm not sure why more people don't do this.

Anyhow, they are like any pet of that sort. They aren't interested in you, and just want to be left alone. Most think they don't make an interesting pet. Also, if you take care, like spiders, it's unlikely you are bitten/stung.
