Hoplocephala stephensi. hoplo meaning? cephala = something about head shape?
The fella we visited last weekend had a Stephens banded. It was in it's hide box and came out onto a rock before we left. Pretty sure STP got photos.
It had a broad head and definite markings, probably not very old, about 25 cms long.
Gorgeous.
