I built some enclosures recently with glass sliding doors.
I was going to use those locks that have that ratchet/clamp type attachment to the glass. (which long term scratch the glass)BUT I went to a glass merchant who sold me these really great locks that are fitted into pre cut holes in the glass.
They are $25 each which I know isn't cheap but that does include the cut for the hole. They are the size of a 1 dollar coin with a polished silver finish.
The way they work is that the key leaves it's end in the lock when you lock them.
I haven't seen anything that looks better. And my wife feels a lot less stressed about our very inquisitive 16 month old!
