Shedding doesn't necessarily mean your python will start soaking itself. Soaking is often a sign of a mite infestation rather than just a need to loosen up the skin, ie it's not a bad thing your diamond's not soaking, that's normal.Howard's right: You shouldn't really need to mist the tank unless you live in an especially dry area (I'm sorry I've forgotten where you're from).
Just chill and your diamond will probably take care of everything itself. :wink:
