I have kept my carpet for 2 months now in a 50 litre plastic container with a quarter of the tub on a heatmat. She seems to be happy in there. And the breeder told me they need minimal light so i dont use any lights in the tub. I just handle the snake in direct sunlight any chance i get. So i wouldnt worry too much about lighting, just heating is more important.
