Thanks for the tips folks,
I went to the local pet shop and got myself a thermometer, thermostat and a Rowco ceramic fitting and a 25W Sun Glo Daylight lamp as these were what they had in the petshop enclosures. They had their bulbs fixed to the ceiling and I figured if I do that then there would be no need for me to worry about enclosing the bulb as the snake won't be able to reach it till it has grown somewhat. I was wondering about the best location for the temperature probe, on the floor directly below the bulb seems the most logical spot to me, any suggestions ?
