One Rough Scaled python was declared in the NSW amnesty by a keeper. This snake is I believe held on a prohibited species licence.
John Weigel has been allowed to collect 5 adults. These have been bred the last few years, however WA Calm has a say who gets them. Quite a few have now been given to other zoos by John.
Hopefully in a few years time they may become available to the general public after the zoos have enough. Lets keep our fingers crossed. |
