Well after reading the past entries, it sounds like there are heaps of selfproclaimed experts in here, surely one of you would be able to answer these seemly simple questions for me. I bought my first snake on saturday. She's 4months old, feeding well, and has shed already(although not yet in my care). There seems to be a lot of differing opinions when it comes to the temperature Diamonds should be kept at during the year. I keep Matilda at around 25degs most of the time, she's only 4months old, is this too cold? There's one thing that makes me think... If Gosford is the supposed epicentre of the species existance, wouldn't it then make sense to mimick the outside temps of gosford in her enclosure to some extent?
The other thing, I generally handle her for about 30mins everynight while i watch the news. Is this too often? I always wait til she's defecated before handling after feeding.
