Hi Sw

The first primary rule when purchasing any new snake is to let them settle into their new enclosures. That is leave them alone for the first week or so.

Naturally it will seem unsettled as it is not familar with its new surroundings. This takes a little time. Normally you would not even try to feed a hatchling for the first 1 to 2 weeks till they had settled in. In this case you purchased a well established snake that will now eat whenever offered, even if unsettled.

But believe me, 2 to 3 hours is NOT enough time for a snake to settle in. Just give it time and feed it again in a few more days.
