Thanks Ramsayi, I didnt get that strong a response, the dominant male rose up similar to a strike but with a very tight 's' at the start of his neck/back of head. Moved around like that, big tree snake kind of. He left a trail from his vent. He is coming on shed so I sent him to the mens quarters to feed and shed, i thought a week on/week off would be good.
I will probably combat again after his shed, see how they fire up then.
