Ether, the thermofilm probe thermostat is rated way over 2000watts, so yes they can be used to do more than 1 cage.

There are three ways you can do it.
1) make sure all your cages are exactly the same size and light bulbs. Plug each cage into a power board and plug the power board into the thermostat. Place probe in one cage. Note well. This way WILL ONLY WORK if cages are on the same level.

2) Cages again are roughly the same size, but stacked on top of each other. This way you have a large watt bulb in the bottom cage, and make them smaller as you go up.

3) If you have different size cages you want to use, if you balance them by changing the light bulbs so they have roughly the same temperature , again plug them into the power board and the board to the themostats.

I currently am using method 1 and 2 with no problems.
