I am of the same opinion as Bigguy, more than likely a growth spurt.
Did you ever see any mites on your coastal or Mac, or did you just do the TOD as a precautionary measure after seeing raised scales?
Sdaji, What was the symptom's & circumstances around the need for euthanasing your Mac's? Must have been bad?
