Yes, I spoke to the breeder, he offered to refund my money but I declined because as far as he was concerned it was because I had over fed them and he would have been $#itty with me. I've grown snakes up faster than those and never had a problem, but I suppose it's remotely possible that he has a strain of maccie which is particularly prone to over feeding..... I don't think I'll learn any more since the snakes are now dead. A real shame because they were really beautiful and I really loved them.

The breeder said he contacted all the people who bought the hatchlings from the same litter and apparently none of them had the condition. It's a mystery!

Have you seen many snakes have crinkly spectacles which have gone back to normal after sloughing? I've never seen it.
