changes from snake to snake my female olive wont constrict unless there is tention when she takes the rat (i keep hold of it for afew secs after the strike) other then that she will just slowly walk her jaws over it unless she has shitloads of trouble handling the prey then she chucks a coil or two over it
the male on the otherhand well you cant see his prey cuzz he totaly entwines he seems to have trouble putting his jaw back in sometimes to and he goes for a big fat drink after most meals whereas iv only seen the female olive drink once
my two darwin carpets they both constrict and eat as per norm
