I have to totally disagree with that statement Bob. The pair of snakes you refer to were offered for sale to me many years ago. At the time, I was a young and relatively inexperienced keeper with limited finances. As a result, I let a more experienced keeper go halves with me in the pair and they were maintained at his facility. The snakes arrived in good health and they were stunning, large animals. The story of their eventually demise is not something that I'll discuss on a public forum. If I ever had that opportunity again, I would have found a way to afford them and have kept them entirely myself. At the time, they were the last legally held pair in Australia.
