OK here's one for the genetics experts.
If someone crossed one of Simon Stone's Albino Darwin Carpets with say a jungle or diamond creating hetrozygous offspring and then bred these to produce Albino Darwin x Jungle pythons. Subsequent breedings back with homozygous normal jungles(hence hetrozygous offspring) and breeding these to produce homozygous albinos (doing this many times) would dilute the Darwin blood over the generations but you would now have the albino gene in a somewhat impure jungle line.
Is this possible to do?????
This could possibly be done with other carpets such as bredli, coastals etc???
NB this is a hypothetical question and in no way to I condone the practice of cross breeding of the Carpet subspecies.
Just a thought
