LOL snakeman i knew what you meant, i just couldnt resist.
i have just found im my experience (which is gererally tripping over or dodging snakes) that red bellied are fiesty little blighters and browns normally leave or stay very still.. maybe the reds i have come across are females :wink:
i must add i am no expert (far from it)and any snake in the wild gets a very wide berth from me in the hope we can both go on our way. they actually scare the heck out of me
