Yeah Browns thats the part i had trouble with, i lived in northern NSW for 10 years and know they change slowly to carpets, at red rock just north of coffs the intergrades are say 97% carpet genes, they are carpet patterns but on alot you can still see some dots in the scales like diamonds and intergrade, so exactly how much carpet does an intergrade have to have in it to stop being an intergrade and start being a carpet, this is my only disagrement with bobs arguement, he says they change slowly into carpets but then says intergrades dont often breed with pures, but what about the ones that are 99% carpet, they are they only one that come into contact with pure carpets, if there is such a thing as pure carpets
