Many feel the same way but the Clayton location is much closer to the center of Melbourne population wise (which is actually in the Mulgrave/Wheelers Hill area - even further from the city). Fortunatly it is pretty easy to get to. The Forster Road exit to the Monash Freeway is close and the University is well serviced by busses connecting to train stations.
