Well, Monty has decided that he prefers day old chicks and plump and featherless pigeon chicks. but he is now just constricting and killing them but can't seem to eat them at all. I'm just going to try him in a luke warm bath and see if that moves anything. I saw Peter Bredl today and described all the symptoms to him. He doesn't sound too hopeful about poor Monty I'm afraid, and suggested either constipation or a twisted bowel?? Anyway off to the vet tomorrow to see what he says eh? I don't feel very confident about this vet as he's not a herp vet persay, but at least he can do a phone consult with the herp vets I've got off this site. Cheers Cheryl PS Monty doesn't seem to have the open mouthed thing that the other snakes have.
