Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think Maccies have ever been known as Liasis Childreni? Known as childrens python yes but not as Childreni. When the "Childrens Pythons" were recognised as seperate sub-species they were split as Childreni, Maculosa and Stimsoni I believe but it wouldn't be the first time I have been wrong
