geeze, cheezy subject. i don't personally keep BHP's but i have mates that do, and i have heard mixed results, i know a fellow that bred a male at 18 months, around 1400m, but he had been powerfeeding it rabbits, and it was a very girthy python for 1400mm. don't know about females though. i know that in antaresia, if you breed them young, you'll often reduce there egg count for life, eg- childreni bred @ 18 months may only have 8 eggs, and this reduced count will continue for life.

i have also heard of people not being able to breed BHPs till they are 4-5yrs. so the precedent is all over the shop.
