We give ours canned food about once a week, but they always have a choice. The plate is half canned food with the other half vegies. When they have their salad the other half is fruit. Another day they get bearded dragon pellets....and once a week they get put in a big tub with as many roaches as they can eat.
The trick is.......give them a lot of variety!!
