It looks like we have found the problem! I had a friend who is very experienced with reptiles come over tonight to look at her. When we opened her mouth it looked very red and there was also a little free blood which was definately not evident when the vet looked at her. My friend was pretty sure it was panophthalmitis the infection that serpentongue and TrueBlue mentioned. He wasn't sure what might have caused it but I remembered that a while back, about 2 months ago, she was holding her nose up in the air sometimes and I didn't think anything of it. Apparently this is a symptom of a respitory infection, I only just found out. So we think that Maybe the panophthalmitis was somehow set off by a respitory infection she had which has now subsided. We are injecting her with antibiotics and vitamins so hopefully she'll be ok.
