i know your talking about pythons, however as of late ive started using a infra red globe in my Beardie tank and at night time when it switches over from bright normal light half of the beardies go to sleep on the cold side away from the light and the other half run around for a few hours and never really go to sleep till much later. Which would make me believe that my beardies are being negatively affected be the light as previously they would go to sleep within 5 minutes of the bright light going off at sundown with no infra red. would beardies and snakes have the same eyes for colours? Meaning infra red possibly affecting snakes?
