Photos would help.

Also the type of snake will make a difference here. For example, if this is a green tree snake that has possibly been fed frogs, then yes, it could be skin worms, (not a big deal and easily taken care of in most cases). However, if this is a carpet python, kept in bad conditions, you could have a blister disease, (ultimately, if left untreated, can become systemic and be fatal).

So, what type of snake is it ?
