As far as the little beardie goes get him to a suitable vet asap, if you said where you live someone on this forum could probably point you in the right direction. Its hard to tell the nature of the injury from a such short typed description.
Im suprised the rspca had the hide to charge you to treat a native animal when they are happy to sell cats to bad owners at low cost

yeah there arnt too many feral reptiles in australia, why would it be in their interest?
