I've only been collecting since April!
The best tips:
1). Try to pick up 2nd hand enclosures (My Bluey 4' tank & stand cost me $120 & 1 hour cleaning time!)
2). Read the APS forums!
3). Read everything you can about your animal
before you get it. I like to have the enclosure set up a week before any new arrivals hit. This allows for temp monitoring, aesthetics, etc.
4). Read the APS forums again & ask questions.
