how long for a shingleback to shed?

my shingleback has been shedding for about a week now, how long should it take? and is there anything to do to help it? i know with snakes you put bowls of water in for them to soak in but as shinglebacks shouldnt get wet im assuming this is not a good idea any suggestions or just let him be and do it all by himself
