If you've got boxes and stuff in there, the chances are that's where they will be. Check everything, but be careful when moving the boxes that they don't get squashed either under them or inside them. If your shed has a steel frame, it may be "C" section steel, and I have had a carpet get into the frame once, because it is open at the back where the sheeting is fixed. I went down there at night with a torch and saw him hanging out in ambush position, carefully blocked off the channel at each end of where he was with rags, and then unscrewed the sheeting from outside and got the bugger... Probably won't have gone too far at this time of year.
