hides ???

hi guys just a quick question ive had my mac for a week now and i have 2 hides in her tank one in the warm area and one in the cold but she seems to always stay in the cold one and never comes out and hasnt eaten since ive had her

. should i take the cold hide out and only have the warm one in there so that she might come out and have a feed?

any info will be helpful
