I was having this same discussion about Bredli last night. You have a beautifully proportioned animal that should live a long healthy life (barring illness) and breed very well. It is widely known in the scientific community that Bredli don't wild breed until about age 5. Don't be in a rush, length sounds spot-on for it's age.

There are always bigger animals out there, only last night I heard of a ridiculous Maccie tipping the scales at 2kg (breeding at 12 months, simply outrageous).

I agree that rats are the way to go. A more complete meal nutritionally and obviously you can feed less times (when on rats)
