I was talking to my brother last night who's in Cairns and he told me of a neighbour who has had National Parks around a few times to remove an estimated 6 metre specimen (close to 100kg1)

from his roof. Apparently he only found out it was there because it split the gyprock

!! .Anyway, the removal was unsuccessful (too dangerous) so the story goes that Steve Erwin will be having a go on his way through from his latest trip to the Cape. The owner of the house has done a deal with the "Today Tonight " crew so keep your eyes peeled .
Cheers,
Varanus.
