i don't know because i am not a professional, but if you search for a thread called "dry/damaged scales", that i started, you should see some pics of my snake and her damaged scales. My snake had damaged her scales by slithering onto her light and burning herself. it's got a pic there so if it looks similar, i can tell you that they should come back with her next shed. my snakes scales' are almost back at their former glory
