Just as an aside to your post - Most caterpillars are either poisonus or mimick a poisonous caterpillar. For example the beautiful monarch catepilla (the wanderer) is extremely toxic and uses the sap from the milk weed (swan plant) which is highly cardio toxic. Just eating one caterpillar could send you into cardiac arrest (although this is unlikely).

Most of the fury ones have toxic hairs on them as suggested - or they just mimick toxic ones and have hairs.... telling them apart???? No way that i know of!
