Newbie questions
Ok, im a bit of a newbie and havent recieved my first snake/s yet but i have a few questions b4 this happens ....
1st > Um firstly import/export question, Um Im in NSW and it indicates a Species code number *person is from Melb and was unaware of this info* also i was told different states class carpets as different species eg: um gettin a mcdowli (spelt wrong) but in Vic they are classed as varigata ? please explain !!!
2nd . Heating ..... now i have a heat rock and a heat cord . it advises on box not to use heatrock as main heat supply but my heat cord (6m 80W) is heating the container (30cm L x 20cm W x 20cm H) to much.... i have it under a ceramic tile and it's heating it 40+ degrees within 10 mins ? now because the heatrock has a inbuilt thermostat is it ok to use this ??? (um currently im awaiting a dial thermostat to arrive for the cord/light)
and lastly , i have converted an old kitchen cupboard into an enclosure for under $100 bux which im quite happy about, and i have a questoin, do most ppl get a sparky to set up the wiring or have they attempted it themselves... I attempted it myself and im quite happy it works, had it tested by a sparky friend and he was shocked that it was correct lol, though the setup is minus the thermostat so it's just a light switch with a plug,
