Depends how the fans are set up & if heating is still applied or not.
Without a heat source an internal or even external fan will cool the temperature and allow your animal to survive but it will also eliminate a heat gradient and only give the animal a single temp range throughout the enclosure (unless of course it is possible to direct the stream of air to a certain part of the enclosure without it effecting the opposite side)

My suggestion would be to keep heating on through a thermostat and use ice packs at 1 end of the enclosure OR a portable air con to cool the room/enclosure. I use a portable air con in my Herp room, they are pretty expensive but well worth it imo & come in use every season. Heating remains on throughout summers in my enclosures but the room itself is set below 30*
