Looked everywhere, I thought, on the third day I had basically given up. Figured Kilim had seen the gap under the front door and done a Harold Holt.
SWIIC (She who is in charge) had a cot set up with her stuffed cows in it. She was rearranging them due to a new addition and found that Kilim was happily coiled up in the lap of one right down the bottom.
Anyway I digressed. From that point on I always make sure that the sliding doors are secure.
Oh and BTW I'm sure everyone knows this but glass in sliding channels often rattles as people run/walk/move around near it. It also used to "rattle" the snakes. A well positioned wedge of cork made for happier snakes.
