cross posted this in general also. Wasnt sure where to put it but wanted to go somewhere. If needs to be deleted then thats cool

My girl is about 5 ft bredli. Ive had her since she was about 12inches long. I obviously received strikes from here back then but have never had a decent strike since she was about 3 mths old or so. She has been a regular handler and has always been great. Handling has dropped off a little over the past 6mths as we have had another baby enter our home. Our little daughter.

I kind of knew my bredli was close to a next feed but thought ill get her out and onto the grass for some afternoon sun. I tap her head gently with my snake hook as i do everytime i get her out. I put my hand under the perch she is on and feel her head nudging my finger. Then bam she takes a bit. I pull my hand away from the branch a littlle to give myself some room and with my other hand holder body from coiling round my arm. Calling my wife in i first get her to spray some water into her mouth. No luck. The i tell her to get a syringe of my best scotch (grr). She quickly let go after this. Pulling her head away and her teeth out. With some resistance mind you. I am a little shaking more because of the shock of my first bite. I always knew i should get bitten sometime. but it had never happened. Always make sure she is well fed when handling from now on ha ha

Is there anything i should do for her after trying to get her drunk or all is good ???
