i am in the final stages of planning my DIY enclosure. The enclosure is going to be heated by one or two 12volt halogen down lights (dicroic lights) so they can be set up so they can't be seen when looking through the front of the enclosure - similar to these ones

just wondering what sort of mesh would work well as the lights will sit either directly on it or very close to it. I was thinking of the mesh which is pretty much a sheet of steel with holes punched out of it but have no idea where to get it.
any other suggestions on mesh type would be good. the enclosure if going to hold a blonde mac who is only 12 months old at the moment so the mesh can't have too bigger holes in it
